Step by Step Closer to a Cure.

Believe That You Can Help
The Walk MS is the signature fundraising event of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. By participating in the Walk MS you can know that you’ve shared a remarkable achievement with over 250,000 other walkers in more then 700 cities across the county. But most importantly, you’ll be making a difference by raising essential funds for research and services for people with MS.

Walk MS Teams Wants You
Team up with Friends, family or co-workers to help fight against MS and have a great time. Teams are a great way to bring co-workers closer together, boost company spirit and demonstrate you community involvement. Team up Against MS!  Learn more about teams.

JOIN THE MOVEMENT!
The Walk MS has brought together thousands of caring individuals to walk on behalf of the mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters, friends, colleagues, children and caregivers whose everyday lives are profoundly touched by the unpredictable and devastating disease of multiple sclerosis.

The Walk MS is a fun and enjoyable fund-raising event that supports the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s efforts to end the devastating effects of MS. Funds raised have fostered tremendous MS research advances.

The Central Virginia Chapter is GOING GREEN!
All our 2010 Walk MS and Bike MS events will provide their informational packets electronically.  They will be downloadable on the chapter website, rather than mailing them out.  What does this mean?

  • Less paper will be used to print these out
  • Anyone can access the information they need immediately, rather than waiting for it to arrive in the mail.
  • They can be emailed to team members, donors, sponsors, rather than being sent by conventional mail.  Saves time and money!
  • All of the above means that more money can be spent on MS research!!

Not only can we all help the environment, we can also help people with MS.
